Very enjoyable wine that I’ve had multiple times now; nose is a little darker and muskier than my earlier bottles, but still has cherry, blood orange, along with some black currant and violet. The palate has very nice material with still notable tannins, but enough acidity and fruit to balance them nicely. Still an excellent value wine at ~ $20 and a fun wine to explore if you have never had the Mencia grape.  Should still improve in the cellar.
