Beaucastel Chateauneuf du Pape 1990

Beautiful aged Chateauneuf. The nose is filled with savory notes, slightly dried red berry fruits, dried violet, saddle leather, dried herbs. The palate is rich and fabulous, great fruit, slightly dried, but delicious, savory, earthy, aged, excellent. Definitely no upside from here, so don’t wait too long, but this is excellent.  Consumed 3/25/17
